LinkedIn publishes 1128 × 191 for the Page cover image in its Pages image specifications. That page is not reliably readable without a session, so the figure is recorded as corroborated. It is a completely different asset from the 1584 × 396 personal profile banner.

Why this asset is awkward
This is the mistake that costs companies a redesign: the personal profile banner is 1584 × 396 at 4:1, and the Page cover is 1128 × 191 at nearly 6:1. Uploading the personal size to a Page produces a heavily cropped, oddly centred strip.
At almost six times wider than it is tall, the Page cover holds a wordmark and perhaps four words. This editor crops to the exact ratio, marks where the square Page logo overlaps the lower-left, and shows the narrower crop the mobile app renders.

One idea, four words
At 191 pixels tall, a Page cover is a headline strip. Anything longer is unreadable before it is cropped.

Do not repeat the logo
The Page logo is already rendered on top of the cover. Putting the same mark inside the artwork produces two logos an inch apart.

Check the mobile band
Most Page visits are from the app, and the app crops the sides. A wordmark that runs to the edges loses its ends.
