Discord image sizes and editors
Server and profile banners, 128 px emoji under the byte ceiling, and avatars that read well in a member list.
Discord is unusual in that its byte limits, not its pixel sizes, are what fail uploads. Emoji must fit in 256 KB, stickers in 512 KB, and the platform does not tell you which constraint you missed. Every tool here shows the exact output size against the limit before you download.
The other Discord speciality is masking: avatars are circles with the status indicator punched out of the bottom-right corner. The editors draw both, so you can see what actually survives.

What are Discord’s image size limits?
Custom emoji: 128 × 128 under 256 KB. Stickers: exactly 320 × 320 under 512 KB. Server banner: 960 × 540. Profile banner: 680 × 240. Avatars: 128 × 128 minimum, masked to a circle. Each page carries its source and check date.
Why does Discord reject my emoji?
Almost always the 256 KB file size rather than the dimensions. Photographic images exceed it easily even at 128 × 128. Exporting as WebP, which Discord accepts for emoji, usually solves it.
